The Sacramento Northern was an important exhibit for the museum
because it showed that the area known as West Sacramento was part of
the earliest public transportation systems in California.
In addition to a book signing event with the author of a book
on the Sacramento Northern, we screened a 1940 film also named,
"The Sacramento Northern." Over fifty people showed up from as far
away as the State of Washington to view this Technicolor film.
We hope to screen the film again at a later date.
All events at the museum are free and open to the public.
