Visit the West Sacramento Museum and Visitor's Center

Traveling West on Interstate 80:
Take Interstate 80 until it merges into and becomes East Capital City
Freeway 50. After two miles, take the Jefferson Blvd exit to downtown
Sacramento. Merge onto CA-275 North via the exit on the left toward
downtown. Exit at West Capitol Avenue and turn right onto West
Capitol Ave. Turn left onto 3rd street. We are about a half mile
down third street on the left at 324 3rd street.
Traveling South on Interstate 5:
Take Interstate 5 south to the Richard's Blvd exit. Turn right onto
Richards Blvd. The street will turn into Jibboom Street. Turn right
onto the I Street Bridge. The street will turn into C Street.
Turn left from C onto 3rd Street. We are at 324 3rd Street.

The West Sacramento
Historical Society is a non-profit, membership-supported organization dedicated to preserving
, protecting and promoting the history of West Sacramento and East Yolo County.
We are located at 324 3rd Street in West Sacramento, California.
The museum is open Thursday through Friday from 10am to 4pm and Saturday and Sunday
from noon to 4pm. Admission is free
For appointments outside normal operating hours or for other
questions please call the museum at (916) 374-1849.
In addition to exhibits we provide special screenings and book signings
for projects relating to West Sacramento history. Our staff is also
available for speaking engagements.
